  • Do the lampshades comply with fire safety regulations?
    Lampshade materials comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries. The PVC material has been tested by the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test. Fabrics, textiles or paper laminated to this PVC become fire retardant.
  • What bulb size can be used?
    The frame is suitable for UK (Bayonet Cap B22) or EU fittings (Edison Screw E27). There is a converter which is suitable for either fitting
  • What type of bulb can be used?
    It is best to use low energy (LED) bulbs with all your lampshades as these do not generate heat. Non-LED bulbs generate heat and higher wattage bulbs generate greater amounts of heat and require more ventilation, which means larger or wider shades must be used.
  • Do you make shades with diffusers?
    Diffusers are optional extras and can be ordered so please contact us for further details
  • What shapes are available
    We provide a variety of lampshade shapes - drum, oval, rounded-rectangle and rounded-square are currently available.
  • What size drum lampshades are available
    Drum lampshades are available in 20cm, 25cm, 30cm and 40cm diameter. Larger sizes are available on requst.
